Today we have author Michael Cargill on our blog! Not only did Michael do an interview for us, he was awesome enough to give us 10 copies of his newest book, just released last week, to give away! See below for details. Look at the person sitting just across from you. It doesn’t matter whether they’re a loved one, a friend, or a complete stranger. Now look at their face. Are they happy? Are they sad? Or are they angry? Can you even tell? How well do you actually know the people closest to you? Have you ever seen the real person that lies just underneath what you see…? Amazon.com Widgets Thanks Michael for the interview and the giveaway! When did you first know you wanted to be a writer? All My Best Friends are on Goodreads by David Estes A year ago I would have told you that I’m not a huge online person. Facebook sounded like some kind of high school yearbook. Twitter was the sound a deranged squirrel made when chewing the guts out of an acorn. A Blog was what you threw on the fire when the flames began to dwindle. And Goodreads were the books I loved to escape to: the Harry Potters and the Eragons and The Hunger Games and The Lord of the Rings. Perhaps one of the coolest side effects of becoming an author: joining the online community. I’m still not a huge Facebooker or Tweeter (although I do use them a fair amount), and while I enjoy writing my posts, the actual maintenance of my blog page via the widgets and gadgets and gizmos and driveshanks (I may have made up the last two), doesn’t interest me at all. But the one online arena where I’ve found my stride is Goodreads, or GR to the millions of users. I originally joined Goodreads when a friend invited m

Author Interview with Barry James

Image
I'd like to welcome author Barry James to our blog today! Read on to find out more about Barry's novel, Dreams of Darkness ... Jordan Hanson was having a bad day. His girlfriend was acting distant, his cat had run off, his car was leaking oil, there was something screwy with the electrical system in his new house, and to top it all off he got caught in a storm. By the end of the day, though, Jordan would have given anything to get his old life back. Or any life at all, for that matter. Even an undead existence in which he was not about to be used as a tool to end the world would have been better than nothing.... Get your own copy of Dreams of Darkness on Amazon ! My review To say that Jordan is having a bad day is a bit of an understatement, I think. Jordan is having an epically bad day to top all others. Without going into detail and giving anything exciting away, he loses his girlfriend, his cat, his house, oh yeah, and his life, all in one evening. Jor
